(Звучить гімн Сполучених Штатів Америки) Президент США: Thanksgiving Day is a national Americans holiday. People celebrate Thanksgiving Day on the 4th Thursday of Novembers. The history of Thanksgiving Day came from 1621 when Indians helped Piligrims. They taught them to plant vegetables and corn, hurt and garden hubs. People thank each other at this day.
Ведучий 1: Dear Indians and Pilgrims. Do you know why we are here today? We are going to tell our guests about the holiday and have a fun time.
Ведучий 2: The first Thanksgiving Day was celebrated by the Pilgrims in 1621. They came from England. Their ship was culled the May flower. The first winter was very cold. The Pilgrims were hungry. Native Indians taught the Pilgrims how to plant, to the Pilgrims had a great harvest. They were very thankful. The Pilgrims invited their Indian friends. Horn of plenty is the symbol of Thanksgiving Day. ( power point slides)

Президент США: And now give the word to my people.
Ведучий 1: And now it’s time to use thankfulness.
Ведучий 2: What do you mean?
Ведучий 1: I mean, that Indians and Pilgrims has one more task: to make up as many words as they can from the word “thankfulness”
Ведучий 2: And we are going to play one more game “Five Plump Turkeys”
Ведучий 1: There are 5 Turkeys, so we need 5 children from junior forms to draw a tail to the turkey with blind eyes. Музика
Президент США: My people are ready to speak! My people would like play a game too!
Ведучий 2: So let’s play “Mr. Turkey” game. The rules are: One I and One P. sit on the chairs with eyes closed. Another child then knocks on the back of the chair. You should ask “Who’s there?” The child then answers “Mr. Turkey” and you must guess, who is Mr. Turkey.
Ведучий 1: There are 5 Turkeys and we need 5 children to play this game. You have to draw a tail to the turkey with blind eyes.
Ведучий 1: And now let’s play “Mr. Turkey” game. The rules are: One Indian and one Pilgrim sit on the chairs with eyes closed. Another child then knocks on the back of the chair. You should ask- Who’s there? The child then answers “Mr. Turkey” and your task is to guess who is Mr.Turkey.
Ведучий 2:Game #2 is “Nut Race”. All Indians and Pilgrims will take part in it. Your task is to bring as much nuts as possible to your table with the help of a teaspoon. Don’t use your hands. I wonder who is the fastest. Music
Ведучий 1:Let’s have a guessing fun. Take one thing from the bag and guess what is it with the eyes closed. Name it. One I. and one P. from each team. “ Horn of Plenty” is at your table.
Ведучий 2: This year we started a new tradition – to write messages in a Thank - you – book. People have different reasons to say “thank you”/ and saying “thank you” with no reason is very important. It means that you care about people.
Ведучий 1: And the smallest schoolchildren who can’t tell much in English prepared some pictures to this holiday.
Ведучий 2: Thanksgiving Day is a wonderful time to say thank you to our nearest and dearest for many things
The President of the USA: Another American writer William Ward said:” Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like a wrapping a present and not giving it”
