Students: learners of 6th year of study in Ukrainian- speaking environment. There are 23 students in the class. Setting: This is a public school. Students have English lessons 3 times a week. Learning Objectives: by the end of the lesson the students are expected to be able to talk about different kinds of traveling, name its advantages and disadvantages. The procedure of the lesson
T: Good morning everyone. Well, students, let’s begin our work. Today, we’ll speak about …. guess what is the theme of our today’s lesson. Look at this train and solve the puzzle. This train is as a code. Each number refers to the number of the letter in the alphabet.

T: So, today we are going to talk about advantages and disadvantages of different kinds of traveling.
T: Have you ever traveled by car? Stand up, please. Have you ever traveled by bus/ train/ plane/ ship/ helicopter/…. all means of transport? T: Do you like traveling? why?
* Vocabulary revision T: OK. Thank you. And now let’s work in groups. Choose any of these cards and form groups of four. Each group gets a crossword to find the names of the transport. For this task you have 4 minutes.
